Practice 

Adrian Heale is a Solicitor and Chartered Arbitrator.

 

He has many years' experience as a solicitor specialising in commercial dispute resolution and arbitration. He has acted for public utilities, local authorities, contractors, sub-contractors, manufacturers, specialist suppliers, professionals and business people in a wide variety of arbitrated and litigated issues including, for example, those relating to highways, rivers, nuclear installations, civil engineering works generally, buildings and specialised processes; and in disputes involving banking, insolvency, computer hardware and software; a wide range of contractual disputes; professional partnerships; companies; professional negligence; real property; fraud.

He was for a number of years a member of the international Council of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators; and of the Institute’s arbitration panels management group; and chairman of its membership committee. He is currently a member of the Institute’s panel responsible for the interview and acceptance of aspiring chartered arbitrators. He is a former chairman of the Law Society’s Solicitor Sole Practitioners’ Group.

As a Solicitor, he advises owner managed businesses on all legal aspects of their business; and acts in their commercial matters and the litigation and arbitration of a wide range of commercial disputes.

As a Chartered Arbitrator he has conducted arbitrations concerning a wide range of commercial disputes in fields as diverse as professional partnerships, construction, professional negligence, intellectual property, real property, business sale, leisure developments, statutory duties of public bodies, manufacturing, mining and general contractual disputes.

In real life he has inadequate leisure. Such free time as he has is spent in making music; organising and supporting village events; keeping up with family and  friends; walking hills; and making merry.
